Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) Terms & Conditions

Dark Muse Press LLC

By signing up to receive an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of Moonshine: A Faery Tale — Book I (or any future titles by Dark Muse Press LLC), you agree to the following terms:

1. Eligibility & Participation

  • You must be able to read the book and complete a review within the specified review window.

  • Do not sign up for the ARC team if you cannot meet these requirements.

  • Participation is voluntary and may be revoked at any time if terms are violated.

2. Purpose of the ARC

ARC copies are provided solely for the purpose of gathering early, honest reviews before the book’s release.
They are not final and may contain minor errors or revisions.

3. Review Requirements

By accepting an ARC, you agree to:

  • Read the book in a timely manner.

There is no requirement that your review must be positive—only fair and honest.

4. No Sharing, Selling, or Redistributing

ARC readers agree that they will NOT:

  • Sell the ARC

  • Trade the ARC

  • Upload it to any website, piracy site, or file-sharing service

  • Share, forward, email, or distribute the ARC to anyone else

  • Post screenshots, full chapters, or any material that reproduces the text beyond brief, fair-use quotes for reviews

ARC copies are for your personal use only and remain the intellectual property of Dark Muse Press LLC.

5. No Unauthorized Profit

You may not profit financially or materially from:

  • The ARC file

  • Quotes or excerpts from the ARC

  • Early access to the content

Any monetization of ARC content is strictly prohibited.

6. Confidentiality & Spoilers

Until release day:

  • Avoid posting major spoilers.

  • Do not reveal plot twists, endings, or sensitive details not approved for pre-release discussion.

  • You may share general impressions, atmosphere, vibes, or spoiler-free commentary.

7. Platform Requirements

ARC copies may be offered in digital formats such as PDF, EPUB, or MOBI.
Readers are responsible for making sure their device supports the format.

Dark Muse Press LLC is not responsible for:

  • Download issues caused by device incompatibility

  • Lost files

  • Reader-side technical limitations

8. Removal From ARC Program

You may be removed from future ARC lists if:

  • You repeatedly fail to leave reviews

  • You share or distribute the ARC

  • You violate copyright or intellectual property rules

  • You engage in harassment, abusive behavior, or unethical reviewing

  • You misuse ARC materials

Removal is at the discretion of Dark Muse Press LLC.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All ARC content is the exclusive property of Dark Muse Press LLC.
Acceptance of an ARC does not grant:

  • Ownership

  • Distribution rights

  • Reproduction rights

  • Licensing permissions

All rights reserved.

10. Agreement

By signing up for or accepting an ARC from Dark Muse Press LLC, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understand these Terms & Conditions

  • You agree to follow all requirements listed

  • Failure to comply may result in removal from the ARC program

  • ARC privileges may be revoked at any time
