An Author’s Home
Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.— Oscar Wilde.
I’m a software developer. So, I want this site to be as attractive as I can make it and I hope you enjoy it. But I’m not just a software developer, that’s my day job. I am also an author, so I want this to be a creative space. As I go along I will add new features, blog about my novels and about the trials and tribulations of writing.
As a first-time author just launching myself on society, I am sure other authors can relate to what I would like to talk about. It can be a little overwhelming first starting out. To self-publish or go the traditional publishing route? What tools do I use? How do I get an agent? Reference works? Do I really need to pay attention to all those rules of writing? Where do ISBNs come from? There are a million little details that you have to think about. Getting a cover artist. Finding an Editor. Marketing. Who makes all these decisions?
I am going to share with you my journey as an author, not just my work. If I can help even one fellow artist who is just starting and does not know what to do or where to begin, then this entire site will be worthwhile. So, sit back, grab a cup of whatever you like, and enjoy your visit.
